Morttagua is a Producer and DJ born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, that mainly focuses its productions on melodic Progressive House & Progressive Trance genres.
Morttagua has numerous Progressive releases, from singles to remixes in Beatport. His tracks have been supported on podcasts by big electronic music acts such as: Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, Judge Jules, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Flash Brothers, Manuel Le Saux , Mr. Pit, Mark Pledger, Ruben de Ronde, Dinka, Danilo Ercole, just to name a few.
Morttagua has reached international recognition after hitting the TOP 1 selling PROGRESSIVE HOUSE albuns in BEATPORT with his SITH PLANETS EP. Morttagua also reached TOP 4 TRANCE Albums in BEATPORT with his EP Half Horizon (Digital Insomnia Groove) and reaches top of 100 Releases and Singles in Beatport regularly.
Morttagua was Honored with the DJ SOUND AWARDS 2012 of BESTA PROGRESSIVE & TRANCE PRODUCER in BRAZIL. DJ Sound Magazine awards in the biggest and most relevant EDM award night in Brazil.
Morttagua has releases and is signed for labels such as High Contrast (Holland), Tiger Records (Germany),Baroque (UK), Nueve Digital (Can),System Recordings (USA), Digital Insominia (UK),, Big Fish Recordings (Canada), Uplifting Music (Brasil) and many others.
Morttagua is also half of the Progressive project JANEIRO TONES, that has releases for labels such as S2G (Germany) and EyeReflex Records (germany) , The commercial house project HOT & CUTE (Braslive Records), and the Progressive duos D.E.C.A.D.A & DUCATO & MERIVE (Uplifting Music).
Morttagua presentations may be in the form o DJ Sets or LIVE Presentation. On live presentations, Morttagua only plays his singles or official remixes (No Mashups or Edits, only official productions).

Dj e produtor musical, Morttagua possui inúmeros lançamentos entre singles e remixes de Progressive House & Progressive Trance no Beatport por gravadoras nacionais e internacionais. Suas faixas foram executadas em radio shows por grandes nomes da musica eletrônica mundial, tais como: Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold, Solarstone,Ruben de Ronde, Ticon, Judge Jules, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Flash Brothers, Manuel Le Saux, Mr. Pit entre outros.
Morttagua atingiu reconhecimento Nacional e Internacional após seu EP SITH PLANETS alcançar o Top 1 de albums mais vendidos de Progressive House do BEATPORT. Poucos produtores Brasileiros conseguiram tal posição no Beatport e Morttagua acabou recebendo amplo destaque pela mídia especializada do Brasil, com notas sobre o feito nas capas dos portais da HOUSE MAG, ELECTRO MAG e DJ SOUND. O EP HALF HORIZON (Digital Insomnia Groove) também chegou ao TOP 4 mais vendidos de TRANCE no BEATPORT. Morttagua também atinge o top 100 charts do Beatport com regularidade em seus constantes lançamentos.
Morttagua também fez parcerias e remixes oficiais para grandes artistas da cena mundial como: Ticon, Alex Mind, Chris Jones (Vocal de Armin Van Buuren “Going Wrong”) Molly Bancroft, Eva Kade, entre outros.
Morttagua foi honrado com o prêmio DJ SOUND AWARDS 2012 de DESTAQUE PRODUTOR PROGRESSIVE & TRANCE. O DJ Sound Magazine Awards é uma das noites de premiação mais relevantes do mercado de musica eletrônica do Brasil.
